Final Storyboard boards

In the meeting today the group and I discussed the Final Storyboards that we will be completing before producing the script and final film. Using a text book and a handout that our teacher gave us we looked at sampler storyboards. These storyboards showed us what detail we need to add to ours and what information we have to include. We decided that as a group we will complete two storyboards.

Creating two separate storyboards meant that extra detail would be added and we could show our use of using different media techniques. We would create the first story board using hand drawn pictures and annotations and the second using pictures that we have taken.

With the hand drawn storyboard each shot would be drawn on a separate A4 page annotating round the outside to show what shots would be used, how long the shot will be and the slide transitions. We decided to present this storyboard using video. In videoing the storyboard we would be able to explain and show what shots we will be using in person.

The second storyboard that we will complete will be on created on the computer. We will use pictures that we have taken ourselves and then annotate them on the computer. I think that creating two storyboards is a good idea as it shows our uses of different media. It will also be clearer for me and the group as it clearly shows what shots we will be using and where we could film them.

My input with creating these storyboards was to help take the pictures and to draw the pictures that would be used. Although this was a simple task it helped me understand what will be happening within the film. I understood and agreed with the shots what we will be using, as I think that they will make our storyline easy to follow and understand.
